Welcome to Language Art's PBwiki 2.0!
The Holocaust and WWII
This is a real wiki! Please edit this page, create new pages, and invite others to use the wiki. Check below for links from pbwiki on how to operate different functions of this site. Please do not edit this page because your classmates may want to refer to this information later. On the side bar on the right of this are the links to your individual class wikis. You do not have permission to edit this site; you edit your class period's wiki (look right).
Here's how this works:
You can create a page about ANY topic related to WWII or the Holocaust by clicking the "Create a Page" on the right of this screen. Name your page whatever topic you are going to write about, for example, Adolf Hitler.
To find another page, click the "Pages and Files" link on the right of this screen right next to "Create a Page." It will give you a list of all the pages we have made so far. Click on "Adolf Hitler" to see an example and how to write information into your wiki page.
You can comment on a page that you do not have facts you can add. For example, if your topic is the Battle of Stalingrad, you will not have facts about Auschwitz. When you read the Auschwitz page, however, you may want to comment that a certain fact surprised you or that you read a book where that happened. You can add these thoughts in the "Add a Comment" section below the page.
Grading:
You MUST add at least five pieces of information to this wiki by the end of our time together. At one time, do not add too many facts or you will run into trouble thinking of more facts later.
You MUST add at least two sources and cite them properly using MLA.
You MUST add at least five links from our wiki pages to other wiki pages or to the internet.
You MUST comment on at least one other wiki page that you did not add information to. You cannot comment on your own wiki page.
You will lose ALL credit if you erase another student's avatar or try to steal another student's information. Similarly, you will fail if you delete ANY page, including one that you created. Edit, do not delete! Your teacher has "adminstrator" access, which means I can see who logs in, when they log in, and who writes and deletes what! Do not erase information or steal from another student; I will know, and you will fail.
